“Small Town Story,” “Songbird” and “The Last Five Years”

Another week, another line up of theater. Enjoy these articles about “Small Town Story,” which looks at a small town split over the high school’s decision to perform “Rent;’ “Songbird,” a take on Anton Chekhov’s “The Seagull” set in a modern day Tennessee honky tonk; and “The Last Five Years,” a musical that tells the story of a relationship’s unraveling but with a twist — The woman tells the story backwards but the man tells the story chronologically.
