More entertainment writing for The Star Ledger

Happy Spring! I haven’t posted in a while but that doesn’t mean I’ve been idle. (I wish I’d been idle.) I was in NOLA for Carnival and didn’t feel like posting much but my work was being posted all over the place while I was away. Here are a few of those pieces.

The most recent is about “Duke Ellington’s Sophisticated Ladies.” This new version is a female-centric one and showcases women’s fight for equality.

Before that, I had the pleasure to again interview playwright Ken Ludwig about his latest work, “The Gods of Comedy.” One of the characters is Thalia, a Muse! You know I love that.

Moving on, I enjoyed my chat with Renee Fleming, singer extraordinaire. Her work with music and the brain sounds fascinating.

I could go on and on, but that’s all for now. Happy reading!
