Finding “The UpSide” with the Inquirer

The Philadelphia Inquirer has a new-ish Sunday section called “The UpSide,” focusing on good news. I’ve been lucky enough to write three stories for them so far. I’m loving it.

My first story was about Susan Love, a woman who grew up in foster care and now devotes her work to making life better for other foster kids and for her students (She’s a Philadelphia public school teacher.)

Then I had a chance to write about a program for young blind golfers. (Not kidding.) Read it and learn.

My most recent was about two Philadelphia women who are working in Nepal to make life better for the children in one village with the Happy Kids Center. They’ve accomplished amazing things.
