Happy stories from Penn Vet

I’ve been writing for the University of Pennsylvania’s Veterinary School and it’s a joy. Happy stories, adorable animals. You can’t go wrong

This first article is about a horse born with “wry nose,” meaning his snout was twisted in a way that would have make life difficult or impossible. The folks at Penn Vet saved his life. Check out the before and after photos below. Meet the horse now known as “Wry Not.”

From horses to … a goat named Milkshake, whose heart stopped multiple times when she was being treated.

And finally Daisy, who got into a tangle with a porcupine (Don’t worry. She’s healthy now.)
